Skills Academy

DATE: Monday July 1st - Wednesday July 3rd

LOCATION: Herkimer College

 

TIMES: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

WHO: Boys & Girls entering Grades 4-12 (Players will be split by age and gender)

 

COST: $85.00

LUNCH: 11:40 am -12:00 pm each day ($5.00 lunch available daily - 2 slices of Pizza & Gatorade)

 

CAMP OBJECTIVE: The Mohawk Valley Elite Skills Academy is a learning experience for boys & girls entering grades 4 – 12. This camp is designed for the athlete who spends time thinking about improving and reaching another level of performance. This camp is NOT for the casual player. It will be a rewarding learning experience that will include skill development, improvement in leadership and communication skills and will show you ways to make your team better, both in practice and in games. Unique drills and game situations will be used to build physical and mental habits that lead to smart, effective play.

 

CAMP DIRECTOR: Eric Wallace - Experience includes being a 4-year player and captain at Clarkson University, Director and owner of Hoop Mountain Florida basketball camps and showcases and Editor of the Florida/Georgia Hoops Report, an NCAA Certified scouting service that is subscribed to by over 400 college coaches at the Division I, II, and III levels. Eric has also served as a scout for USA Basketball’s Developmental teams and for Nike Team Florida, an elite Nike sponsored travel team program. On the court, Eric has worked with Scottie Barnes (FSU/Toronto Raptors), Jaylen Brown (Cal/Boston Celtics), Jalen Green (Houston Rockets), Vernon Carey (Duke/Washington Wizards), Grayson Allen (Duke/Milwaukee Bucks) and dozens of other Division I players.

Area high school coaches will assist with camp drill.

*Camp hosted over 110 players last summer*

*Please bring a basketball to camp if possible*
